Beaches Earth Day Festival 2019 | Jarboe Park

When our community comes together great things happen!

Join us for the 1st Annual Beaches Earth Day Festival 2019.

The focus of this community event is to incorporate species protection, green space conservation and creation, green infrastructure development, water resource management and conservation, and other initiatives through Education, Art, Culinary-Food and Youth Hands-on Gardening.

Here are some things you can expect as you participate in the celebration!.

~Youth Empowerment Summit -will host an education series at the event to teach adults & kids about bees and their importance.
The education series will include:
Exploring Florida Wildlife and Plants.
Activities and advice to help children, teens & adults become more bee and butterfly-friendly.

Flow Studio Art Center presents:
~S.P.A.R.K Young Makers Market -Young Creators from 8-18 will come together and display and sell their art and crafts. We have 20 booth spaces available. For more Information please contact us at [email protected]

~ Art Hive- This is a regular monthly Flow Studio FREE “Come and Create with Us” event we offer to our community!

~ Chef Rosaria Serves- Chef Rosaria and local chef team will share her knowledge through cooking demos, hands-on activities, and education. Event attendees will enjoy the tastes and easy of plant-based foods under the Food Studio tent.

~ Dig Local Network Gardens- The children’s garden activities will serve children ages 3-teens through hands-on, based activities that reconnect youth with the earth.
The garden activities will teach children about the source of various species, plants, the source of food they eat, organic gardening practices and the importance of biodiversity and community. Children will also learn and practice peace, respect, environmental stewardship and friendship.
