Originally from Kansas City, Tina recently relocated to Jacksonville, FL with her dear husband, feisty cat and sweet-natured corgi mix. After eight years working various gigs in New York City from magazine publishing to digital marketing, Tina joined the world of freelance and has written and reported for a variety of publications and websites including MTV News, ET Online, Glamour, Us Weekly and more. Tina has also assisted with social media, editorial and content strategy for brands and personalities such as Britney Spears, Jordin Sparks, Alloy, Beauty Brands and WE tv. When she’s not plugging away on her laptop, Tina can be found exploring the Jacksonville beaches, reading a good book or enjoying a local coffee shop. Tina and Zach are newbies to the world of parenthood with their infant son, Archer.

Lindy is a Nashville, Tennessee native, soaking in the beach life with her husband and two adorable kids. A full-time marketing manager for over 10 years, Lindy has spent time working with shopping centers, local and national retail businesses, and planning community events. Upon relocating to her husband’s hometown of Atlantic Beach in 2013, Lindy enjoys a more flexible schedule as a work-from-home mom and retail marketing consultant and helps Jax businesses get in front of local moms as the Sponsorship Coordinator for Jacksonville Moms Blog. In her free time, she enjoys exercising with the ladies of Jax Stroller Strength, trips to the beach or park with her kids, eating sweets and the occasional kid-free shopping trip!

Jessica is a North Carolina girl, who after living in New York City for eight years, is loving being back in the south since moving to Jacksonville in 2008. She is a stay at home mom to Linda Claire and Liam. Prior to filling her days with parks and play doh, Jessica worked in event planning and marketing for financial and media companies, including This Old House. A graduate of UNC Chapel Hill, she is a passionate Tarheel fan, and college basketball season is her favorite time of year. Jessica spends her free time on the tennis court, training for races with her running buddies, or drinking wine her husband, Trevor. Her favorite things include snuggling with her sweet dog at the end of the day, hearing her kids laugh together, and pink cupcakes with sprinkles.

Jessica was born one minute before her twin brother in the “Bold New City of the South” and has lived here ever since. Like most mommies, to define her by just one job title would be impossible, but of all her titles, Wife & Momma are definitely her most favorite. Jessica & Melvin, her husband of 10 years, have two children,- Lily & Henry. Her day job for the past decade has been at Glen Kernan Golf & Country Club, where she coordinates everything from summer camps to weddings. When she is not researching kids crafts and meeting with brides, she’s matching sales ads or breaking in her running shoes (especially on Black Friday). Jessica enjoys Gator Football, all things Disney, steam-cleaning, going to the beach with her babies, playing with her Go Pro, making fudge, JaxsonDeVille, singing karaoke show tunes, a good sparkling white wine, reading Emily Post and writing in cursive.

Bernadyn Nettles

Bernadyn is a Jacksonville native who loves the beach, sun, chocolate, and coffee. She met her husband while she was in college at the University of North Florida. They have two kids (6 and 9). When she became a mom, she began her freelance writing career. She wrote for various publications while writing for her blog, B is 4. Her writing and blog led her to become an influencer, which opened up doors to collaborate with other businesses, such as Ink Link Marketing, US Family Guide, and Vanity Fair. During this time, she discovered her passion for marketing and social media. She recently started a new chapter in her life by returning to school to pursue her graduate degree in English, specializing in Rhetoric and Composition. She also returned to working outside the home. She now works as a copywriter and social media coordinator for a publishing company. In her free time, you can find her spending time outdoors, searching for more chocolate or coffee, and finding new adventures to do with her family. Her greatest lesson she has learned as a mom is that time is precious and that there is always something new to learn from your kids.

Born and raised in St. Augustine, Johanna moved to Jacksonville to attend UNF and never left! Now this former elementary school teacher turned Stay at Home Mom to Hudson and Callie, and wife of almost 11 years to Matt, enjoys life at the beach. Johanna enjoys being room mom and volunteering at Hudson’s school, running, and working out at Orange Theory Fitness.

Patricia Kozack

Patricia is a professional makeup artist, wife and mom to two kids (6 and 2). Her days are spent wrangling the kid, being a mom taxi, getting a workout in with Jax Stroller Strength. Her weekends are spent beautifying clients for their weddings and events. She obsessed with all things beauty related and cannot wait to share her niche of the world with Jax Moms blog. Jena Pugh


Jena is a stay-at-home working mom, a wife to her adoring husband Paul, and mom to energetic and hilarious little girls, Isla Grace and Hannah. She currently writes daily blogs for Entertainment Benefits Group, a travel company that sells discounted tickets to Orlando theme parks (, and Las Vegas ( shows and attractions. Her blogs include happenings in both Vegas and Orlando as well as celebrity sightings in Sin City. Being a dancer, cheerleader and gymnast in her youth, Jena has always been athletic but it wasn’t until after college when her real love for exercise began. Three years after graduating from college a friend convinced her to sign up for her first 15k and the next thing she knew she was running past Jack Sparrow in her first marathon at Walt Disney World! She has since gone on to run countless other races, expanding her love for the sport to all things fitness. Jena recently became certified to teach group fitness and leads a group of moms on a mission two days a week at Jacksonville Stroller Strength. She hopes to “pump” other moms up with fitness tips, trends and information to keep them going strong no matter what motherhood throws their way!

Mary Lauren Eubank


Mary-Lauren is a curly-haired Texan in the trenches of motherhood with two sassy and entertaining daughters. A busy body in the truest sense, she teaches fitness classes all week and runs her own business Jax Stroller Strength squeezing in some Pilates sessions on the side. To stay sane, Mary-Lauren requires a daily dose of dark chocolate, unwinds with a page-turner and folds laundry watching just the kind of reality TV that she will forbid her girls from watching in the future. A wannabe foodie, she loves to learn about, prepare, experiment and indulge in all things food…well except the shopping part with kids in tow. She blogs about all things fitness from debunking the latest trends to goal setting, Mary-Lauren is passionate about being active, being real and being healthy!

Kathy Waller


Kathy is a Georgia girl who followed her surfer husband Chuck to the beaches of Jacksonville where she became mom to elementary-aged twins Sophie and Will, preschooler Lainey, and baby Henry! Stay at home mom and avid volunteer, Kathy truly believes in teaching her children to embrace the community, to depend on each other, and to serve one another. Kathy served for a decade in the Junior League of Jax and is in her third year serving on the executive board of the PTA where her children attend school. She is very active in her church, Neptune Baptist and has been involved in the MOMS Club of Jax Beach for over eight years. Kathy has learned so much in her career as a software consultant for Oracle, but is always amazed at the skills she has acquired as a mom and community volunteer. Kathy also enjoys running and completed her last marathon (#9) in 2011, but always wonders if she shouldn’t just do another to have a good even 10 under her belt!

Kacey Roache


Kacey is a Jacksonville native who lives in Ponte Vedra with her husband, TJ, and her three kids, Lucy, Lucas and Lola. Kacey graduated from Florida State University (Go Noles!) with a degree in interior design and owned lulu, a baby and kidspace design boutique. In 2011, she decided to close shop to be a full time stay at home mom. You can find her most mornings channeling her inner Serena Williams on the tennis court and most late nights pinning away on Pinterest or catching up on her guilty pleasure of reality TV.

Cheryl Leddy is both a mom and a C.P.A. in her native Jacksonville, FL. Upon graduating from the University of Florida, her love for Jacksonville brought her back to the First Coast where she began her career and her family. She and her husband have three curly-haired children, Nate, Evelyn, and Whit, whom she adores, but who constantly keep her on her toes! Cheryl is fortunate to be able to work as a C.P.A. at Farmand, Farmand, and Farmand, P.A. while also being home with her children (except during the dreaded “tax season”!). Her favorite parts about living in Jacksonville are the great family and kid-friendly activities, the proximity to the beach, as well as the short drive to Gainesville, where she can keep up with the Florida Gators (her first true love)! She is excited to share some tax and financial tips that can benefit all moms and growing families…hope you enjoy!

Meg Sacks


Meg is a working mom of two and avid community volunteer. She has worked in corporate communications and media relations for more than 15 years, for a Fortunate 500 company as well as a non-profit. She took some time off to enjoy life as a stay at home mom after the birth of her first child in 2008. Her sweet, introverted daughter, who loves all things animal and geography related, was excited to welcome her baby brother in 2013. An energetic little boy with a love for all things truck and train, he’s teaching Meg how to parent all over again. Meg finds being an “office mama” a constant balancing act and never-ending challenge but enjoys the opportunities it offers her for personal growth. A Virginia girl at heart, she loves Florida’s warm weather, the great quality of life Jacksonville offers her family, and the fact that she and her husband, met in Riverside not far from Biscotti’s, which is still their favorite spot for a date night – when they have time for one!

Christie Pettus


Christie Pettus is a full time working wife and mother living her suburban cul de sac dream in Orange Park, Fl. She is Mom to two wonderful but very different kids – petite and determined eleven-year-old, McKenzie, who loves both the soccer field and the dramatic stage and nine-year-old, Ethan, who has quickly outgrown his older sister (much to her dismay) and spends his weekends on the baseball field or just playing with his best friends. As graduates of the University of Florida, her and her husband Ryan feel so strongly about passing down their sometimes obsessive love for Gator athletics that they have been known to threaten banishment to their rebellious daughter for just mentioning that she might be rooting for Georgia. As a family, they have fostered a love for missions trips which started with their time at an orphanage in Ecuador and they are now eagerly anticipating their next mission trip to Kenya in the summer of 2014. After publishing the story of their family’s experience in Ecuador, Our Family Mission, Christie decided that writing was something she could no longer put on the back burner, so she took a giant leap of faith and published her first fiction novel, Sweetly Broken, in November fulfilling her long time dream of being an author.

Jeanine Ferguson


Jeanine J. Ferguson is a Fort Lauderdale native who enjoys the beach life. After her husband’s career brought them to Jacksonville in 2003, she quickly fell in love with the beauty and charm of the First Coast. The joy of Jeanine’s life is being mom to two fun-loving, inquisitive boys, Cleveland IV (2009) and Jackson (2012). Passionate about all things fashion, including “New With Tags” finds and what she refers to as “Smart Style”, she’s also an avid DIYer and photographer. Jeanine is a proud Gator, receiving her undergraduate, masters, and specialist degrees from the University of Florida. After spending more than 10 years in regional/national sales and marketing roles for global medical device companies, in 2014 she accepted a position as the Marketing & Business Development Director for a local Jacksonville Medical Center. In her spare time, Jeanine enjoys spending quality time with her family, traveling, watching and attending culinary competitions, and honing her photography skills.

Cassy Fiano


Cassy Fiano is a Jacksonville native and mom to four kids. Her husband is a Marine Corps veteran and Purple Heart recipient. She works from home as a blogger and a freelance writer, and they currently live in the Argyle area of Jacksonville. Benjamin is their oldest, born in 2011, and he loves being a big brother. Wyatt was born in 2012, and he has Down syndrome. Ivy came next, in 2013, and she is a diva-with-a-capital-D. Rounding out the brood is Clara, born in 2015, who is doing everything she can to keep up with her brothers and sister. They love discovering things to do on the First Coast and going on family adventures, as well as cheering on the Jaguars.

Stacy McDonald Taylor


Stacy, a former health care program manager, came to the first coast by way of Charlotte, NC. “Passionate for community and creative arts. Stacy is Master Signing Time Instructor with Signing Time Academy and has worked with families and educators through Parent Education & Outreach Programs. Since welcoming the births of her and her husband’s two delightful, energetic sons, aged 6 and 4 she has worked from home, always seeking to find new ways to provide a joy-filled, creative environment, nurturing a love for people, learning, nature, and healthy, natural/organic foods. Stacy shares tidbits of her “life learnings” on her blog, Wasting Nothing.

Kerry Schickner


Kerry Schicker is director of global employee engagement for FIS, the largest provider of banking and payments technology solutions with 55,000 employees worldwide. Prior to FIS, Kerry worked in a variety of industries including advertising, PR, magazine publishing, and started her career in television news as a reporter for several news outlets across Florida. She has been published in several local and state publications including Florida Travel & Life, Florida Monthly, Jacksonville Luxury Living, Jacksonville Magazine, Minnesota Business Magazine and more. Kerry received her accreditation from the International Association of Business Communicators in 2013 and is a member of the Society for Human Resources Management (SHRM). She also volunteers on the marketing committee for SHRM and the Jacksonville Zoo & Gardens. Kerry is a Florida native and is based in Jacksonville. In her spare time, she likes to be active outdoors and take long walks on the beach, travel, attend concerts and sporting events, and spend time with her family.

Mischelle Storm


Mischelle is a proud “boy mom” of two adventurous and active toddlers (that are 18 months apart), and two equally active dogs. She was born and raised in Houston, Texas and made her way to Jacksonville as a military wife. She is married to her complete opposite and best friend of whom she’s known since elementary school. Mischelle is a wanderlust and loves the challenge of getting to know a new city as if she were a native. When she is not wrangling her two adorable boys, Mischelle is a certified Vinyasa and Prenatal Yoga Teacher and Holistic Wellness Educator. She also loves all things beach related, the theatre arts, and often pretends to be the next Iron Chef. Mischelle’s latest venture is working on her family’s future project of building their sustainable, eco-dream-home in the Texas Hill Country.

Tieska Jumbo


Tieska Jumbo is a California native whose nomadic ways have led her to live in California, Florida, and London, England.  She currently resides in Jacksonville because she and her husband wanted the family support of her mother in the raising of their children.  She holds a BA English with a Spanish minor from UNF.  After a stint in high school teaching and athletic coaching spanning a few short years, she transitioned into Corporate Training.  After a couple more years and growing dissatisfaction with her life as it was, she applied and was accepted to a Library Science Masters degree program in London, England.  With haste, “she packed up her potential and all she had learned, grabbed a cute pair of shoes, and headed out to change a few things.”  It was there that she met and married the love of her life.  A few years later, degree in hand, husband and bun in the oven in tow, she returned to Jacksonville.  She’s currently a Technical and Freelance Writer/Instructional Designer, who loves reading, making things, cooking, and spending time with her guys. She also helps manage her husband’s wedding photography and videography company, Daniel Jumbo Photography. Together, they’re living happily ever after with their soon to be two sons.

Meredith Loudenback


Meredith Fitts Loudenback is “just a small town girl” from South Carolina who moved to Jacksonville in 1995 after graduating from Clemson University. She relocated from SC because she accepted the first job offer she received that was out of state and does not shy away from adventure or change. Meredith and her husband enjoyed living in London and Boston for several years before choosing to relocate back to Jacksonville over 6 years ago. After working in commercial banking (5 years) and medical sales (10 years), she now enjoys being a stay-at-home mom to her 7-year-old son, Matthew, and supportive wife to her husband, Scott, of 18 years. Meredith is passionate about travel, fitness, entertaining, books, beauty and style. Her extensive work in the facial aesthetic industry ignited a passion for skincare and all things beauty. In her free time, Meredith also enjoys triathlon, being involved in PTA, all things shopping, cooking, family bike rides that end with ice cream and a good cocktail shared with girlfriends. Oh, and Bravo TV.

Kelsey is a Jacksonville, Florida, native, enjoying life with her wonderful husband, Matthew, and their adorable children, Noah, Sophia, and soon to be arriving, baby Lincoln. She is a nutritionist that completed her B.S. in Nutrition and Dietetics at the University of North Florida. Prior to becoming a stay-home-mama, she worked as a community outreach coordinator, where she taught people about the benefits of holistic health. With all of the responsibilities that come with being a stay-home-mother, cooking with her children has become one of her favorites! Kelsey enjoys spending quality time with her friends and family, playing volleyball on the beach, browsing Pinterest, online shopping, and having date nights at local restaurants. She is notorious for snapping pictures of any dish that looks delicious, and she shares her food photography, fun recipes and mom life posts on her blog,

Abbey Busch

Abbey Busch

Abbey Busch is a momma of two wildly spirited children, a pediatric oncology nurse to some amazing kiddos, and the Regional Coordinator of Florida for Nurse and Nurture. After graduating from the University of Georgia, she moved to Florida to start a life with the guy she met when she was 16 years old on Spring Break. She and Ryan, along with Hayden and Ella, enjoy bike rides in their neighborhood and spending evenings at the beach with picnic dinners. She’s passionate about childbirth, breastfeeding, babywearing, and traveling with children. Right now she’s enjoying supporting her son trying out different sports, indulging in dressing her daughter in vintage clothes, and making sure her children know how loved they are. Her family is her priority, her husband is the funniest person she’s met, her faith keeps her grounded, and it’s her constant goal to seek joy in the mundane and to find the humor in it all.

Originally from Atlanta, Katie Jones has lived in Jacksonville for the last eight years with her incredibly patient and handy husband and their high-strung mutt dog, Maybelle. Their daughter Lila joined the party in April 2015, and Lennox made her debut in June 2017. When Katie is not celebrating her love of sarcasm or writing posts for her design and lifestyle blog, she dedicates her passion and time to her Interior Design and e-design business, and as many craft and home DIY projects as her glue gun can handle.

Candace Curry is the mother of two girls, Ava and Ivanka, and the wife of Nate. Originally from Chicago, Candace decided she wanted to give life in the south a try. So, she accepted an athletic scholarship to play basketball at Murray State University in 2009. She’s a Racer fan for life and a member of Gamma Sigma Sigma National Service Sorority Inc.. She holds a B.S in Organizational Communication with a minor in Youth and Non-Profit Leadership. Candace and her family moved to Jacksonville from Louisville, Ky where she’d previously spent eight years. She is certified in holistic health remedies as well as group fitness training. Candace is currently a Youtube Content Creator on her channel, Candee Rue; and the owner of a startup natural body product shop, Grace + Genevieve. She enjoys homeschooling her children, exercising, trying hard to be a vegan, reading, and crocheting. Her favorite place is the beach and she’s thankful that she now gets to spend ample time with her family at her favorite place!

Corinna Hoffman


Jacksonville University alumna, Corinna Hoffman is a professional family and baby photographer working at her studio located in Riverside. A native of the Philippines, she moved to America at age 10 and has lived everywhere from New York, to Kansas, to Washington, and now calls Florida her home. She is a Yankee fan married to a Red Sox fan by choice. Corinna and her husband, Robert, are both passionate about their baseball teams just as much as they are with the Jacksonville Jaguars! They have been married for almost 11 years now, and she is a mom to a cool and gregarious young toddler, whom she affectionately calls, “Little Lincoln.” When she is not photographing other people’s children, she is always taking photos of her son as you can tell by her Instagram posts. They like to support all things local. Find them at a mom and pop’s coffee shop, brewery, or family events like the Riverside Arts Market. Corinna believes travel is good for the soul, and it is never too early to go anywhere with the little one. She and her husband have already flown to NYC and traveled as far as the Philippines with their little guy. They love the outdoors and camping, as well as cruising with Mickey Mouse.

Brittany Nichols


Founded in June 1988, Brittany Nichols is a born and raised Floridian with a taste for adventure. She is a first-time mom to son, Hampton and loves exploring every nook and cranny of Jacksonville. This former preschool teacher and nanny is now a full-time mama who does anything but stay at home with her little one. In April 2017, Brittany began blogging about her adventures while nannying which then transitioned into TheMommyNichols, a blog for expecting and new moms. Brittany is extremely passionate about connecting with other women in the motherhood community through sharing ideas and resources.

Kaitlyn is new to Jacksonville and wants to be your friend. She is down for anything and will rarely say no if you invite her along. Kaitlyn is loving life as a girl mom with twin four-year-olds and a one-year-old. She has been standing by her man through undergrad, med school, and now residency (and is a little worn out). She is loving Jacksonville and this new chapter of life. Kaitlyn received her bachelors in Public Relations and Business. She was the head of PR for a startup company in Utah before switching over to Video Production where she got pretty good at making software seem interesting and kind of fun—even though it’s really not. After taking a break from the professional world to “hang with her three best girlfriends”, she is now on a path to self-discovery. One thing she has discovered is that she really likes cake.
