Last-Minute Gift Ideas for Teachers

Back in 2014, Nicole compiled a wonderful list of suggestions for Teacher Appreciation gifts. We wanted to update her post with a few new ideas to show the special teacher in your child’s life just how thankful you are for them, especially as the end of the school year is right around the corner! Below are some of the most popular (and quickest!) ways to say “thank you.”

DIY Gift Ideas

Flowers: We introduced you to this cute idea in 2014, and it is a timeless gesture. These personalized, free printable tags can be glued on a popsicle stick or clothes pin for perfect placement. Purchase a potted plant and poof — you’re finished!

Gift Cards: Another oldie but goodie. These printable 5×7 cards from Chickabug are hilarious. Instead of buying a plain gift card holder, print these sassy ones instead! Just print out on cardstock, glue together and attach a gift card.

Thank You Teacher Printable: This is especially adorable for the littles, and it couldn’t be more simple — print out this “questionnaire” and have your kids fill it out, complete with a hand-drawn picture of their teacher. It’s thoughtful (and usually hilarious). Pair it with a gift card to the teacher’s favorite restaurant, and you have yourself a thoughtful present!

Beach Kit: Nothing says summer like a day at the beach. I’m sure any teacher would appreciate a new beach towel, magazine and delicious snack! Print out a cute label and there’s your gift — a perfect beach kit.
