Meet me at the 50

The Jaguars Women’s Association will host Meet Me at the 50 Presented by PRI Productions on Thursday, October 15 in the US Assure Club West at EverBank Field. This event, featuring special guest appearances by Jaguars Head Coach Gus Bradley and Michaela Bradley, will be a full evening of football conversation and presentations. Doors will open at 5:30 p.m. and the program will begin at 6:30 p.m.

“We’re really excited to put on this event,” Michaela Bradley said. “There are so many who love to talk about football, and this will be a great opportunity to do that and to learn more about the game and some of the great people involved. It will be a fun evening and one that any avid fan will not want to miss.”

Benefitting In the Pink, Meet Me at the 50 will include football discussion, Q&As with Jaguars players and coaches, a Stein Mart fashion show, silent auction, live music and giveaways. Players scheduled to appear are Blake Bortles, Allen Robinson, Allen Hurns, Paul Posluszny and Sen’Derrick Marks. Live music will be provided by the band Be Easy.

ESPN NFL Host Suzy Kolber will serve as the event’s keynote speaker. Kolber originally joined ESPN in 1993 and has since become a mainstay of the network’s NFL coverage. Host of the year-round, weekday show NFL Insiders, Kolber also serves as on-site host for Monday Night Football’s pregame show, Monday Night Countdown. Widely praised for elevating the NFL sideline role, Kolber was a part of ESPN’s weekly prime-time NFL game for a decade, first on Sunday Night Football (2001-05) and continuing on Monday Night Football during the series’ first six seasons on ESPN (2006-11).

In 2006, Kolber experienced one of her career highlights when she worked the sidelines for ABC Sports’ broadcast of Super Bowl XL in Detroit and contributed to the network’s pre-game show. The first female recipient of the Maxwell Football Club’s Sports Broadcaster of the Year Award in 2006, Kolber graduated from the University of Miami in 1986 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in telecommunications.
