JMB Summer Park Hop: Sunshine Park

Join us at one of Jacksonville’s most popular parks for our first Park Hop of the Summer on June 13th at 9 AM! Located at the corner of Osceola Avenue and South Beach Parkway, Sunshine Park has a great path for bike riding, large playground, a brand new skate park, and a splash pad that opens at 10 AM. We’re excited to welcome Proactive Life Skills, who will be on site helping the kids create sensory water bottles and an art therapy bookmark craft and Girly-Girl Partea’s Snow Princess (Anna inspired) will be there at 10 AM in the 2nd hour to meet & greet families!

Making Strides Against Breast Cancer will also join Jacksonville Moms Blog for this park hop. They are looking for mothers and their families, as well as family-focused companies to join their Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walk. This walk, scheduled for Saturday, October 21 at Metropolitan Park, is a 5K awareness and fundraising event to support breast cancer research, education, and patient support programs in our community.

Freddy’s Frozen Custard & Steakburgers will join us at Sunshine Park serving samples of their delicious frozen custard. From sundaes to steakburgers, Freddy’s serves a menu reminiscent of the all-American meals from another time. With locations on Beach Boulevard, in Orange Park and a new location opening at the Town Center in the Fall, Freddy’s is a Jacksonville favorite!

Bring lots of drinking water, sunscreen, towels (remember there is a splash pad!) and a camera to catch some cool pictures of your little ones. Be sure to tag JMB using #jmbparkhop on Facebook and Instagram! We hope you can join us as we kick off our summer park hop series!
