JMB Park Hop: Clarke House

We are headed to Clarke House Park on Wednesday, June 28 from 9-11am for the next stop on our park hop series! Clarke House Park, located in Orange Park at 1047 Kingsley Avenue, is a wonderful location for a summer play date! This unique park features a shaded community built wooden playground beneath a canopy of live oak trees, a covered pavilion, walking trails, butterfly garden, and more. The playground boasts a giant wooden airplane, a wooden ship for kids to climb on and a puppet theater with a separate area for young children.

Freddy’s Frozen Custard & Steakburgers will join us at Clarke House serving samples of their delicious frozen custard. From sundaes to steakburgers, Freddy’s serves a menu reminiscent of the all-American meals from another time. With locations on Beach Boulevard, in Orange Park and a new location opening at the Town Center in the Fall, Freddy’s is a Jacksonville favorite!

Making Strides Against Breast Cancer will also join Jacksonville Moms Blog for this park hop. They are looking for mothers and their families, as well as family-focused companies to join their Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walk. This walk, scheduled for Saturday, October 21 at Metropolitan Park, is a 5K awareness and fundraising event to support breast cancer research, education, and patient support programs in our community.

Weaver & Stratton Pediatric Dentistry & Orthodontics will join the event as well! Serving infants, children, and teenagers of the Orange Park and Jacksonville areas for over 38 years, at Weaver & Stratton Pediatric child’s health and happiness are their highest priorities. Their goal is to build a strong foundation of positive dental experiences so your child will be confident and comfortable at the dentist forever. The wonderful staff, orthodontist, and pediatric dentists in Fruit Cove, FL and Orange Park, FL, use pleasant, non-frightening, simple words to describe your child’s dental visits and treatment. In addition, their zoo-themed offices are designed to provide a fun atmosphere for the children and they want your family to feel at ease the moment you arrive at their office.

Bring lots of drinking water, sunscreen, and a camera to catch some cool pictures of your little ones. We hope you can join us at this stop of our summer park hop series!
