Microsoft Store Girl Scouts Computer Expert Badge

In this two-hour workshop, Scouts, ages 8-14, work through a variety of the exciting activities necessary to obtain a Computer Expert Badge*.

Participants will get hands-on experience with the latest apps and devices from Microsoft to discover the versatility of computers, learn Internet safety and lots more! From using Bing to conduct research and plan an adventure, to creating a presentation for their loved ones, Scouts will feel empowered to use their new skills with their troop and in the classroom.

Space is limited, so sign up today for this FREE, two-hour workshop!

It is the responsibility of the troop leader to provide award badges to participants. If additional activities are needed to satisfy badge requirements, materials can be provided to troop leaders.

MOSH Girl Scouts Camp-In: Glamping in the Great Outdoors

Enjoy a night in the great indoors!  View the stars in the Bryan-Gooding Planetarium, enjoy a s’more party, and explore the Museum before unrolling your sleeping bag in the air-conditioned comfort MOSH offers.

The Camp-In begins at 6:00 p.m. and ends at 8:00 a.m.

Cost is $35 per person which includes a late-night pizza snack and continental breakfast.

One scout leader per six scouts required.

MOSH Girl Scouts – Daisy Clover’s Story

Clover’s story “A Visit to the Busy, Buzzy Bees” teaches us how to use resources wisely. We’ll  listen to her story in our JEA theater, then explore the MOSH and find ways we can  repurpose materials. We’ll even make green houses and plant Clovers in our very own seed starter kits using recyclables. The workshop will take place from 9 to 10 a.m. and cost is $10 per scout. Scout leaders are free. All other attendees pay regular admission prices.

MOSH Girl Scouts: Brownies Bug

Through hands-on crafts and activities, and through classroom discussion, scouts will learn about the little bugs around us and where they live. Scouts will go out on a bug hunt to see the bugs in action. The workshop will take place from 9 to 11 a.m. and cost is $12 per scout. Scout leaders are free. All other attendees pay regular admission prices.

MOSH Brownie Girl Scout Camp-In: Inventor

(Program aligns to Brownies “Inventor ” Innovation Badge, however all Scout levels are welcome to attend)

Spend a night in the museum, conduct design challenges, and learn about product creation at our Inventor Camp In. You’ll put your original ideas to the test and meet women who do that every day while creating products within the engineering industry! The Camp In begins at 6:00 p.m. and ends at 8:00 a.m. Cost is $35 per scout and scout leader; 1 leader per 6 scouts required. Includes a late night pizza snack and continental breakfast.

Flower Power! In this workshop scouts will uncover the amazing way that plants are able to multiply. In spring time we can see and smell these beautiful blooms, and now it is time to take a closer look at flowers. The workshop will take place from 9 to 11 a.m. and cost is $12 per scout. Scout leaders are free. All other attendees pay regular admission prices.
