Bookstore Story Times

San Marco Books and More – San Marco Books and More offers story times the second Saturday of the month in Balis Park from 10-11am and the third Friday of the month at 10:30am in their bookstore. Visit their Facebook page for more details.

Barnes & Noble – Each Barnes & Noble store offers their own story times throughout the week. Story time is at the St. Johns Town Center location is on Tuesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays at 11:00am. Story time at the Mandarin location is on Wednesdays at 10:30am and Saturdays at 11:00am. Story time at the St. Augustine location is on Saturdays at 11:00am.

Books-A-Million – The Regency Books-A-Million, located on Atlantic Boulevard, offers story time on Saturdays at 2:00pm.

Library Story Times

Jacksonville Main Library – The Main Library, located in downtown Jacksonville, has Stories for Babies on Fridays at 10:30 and Stories for Young Children on Fridays at 11:00.

Jacksonville Public Library – Visit your local Jacksonville Public Library for weekly story time events. Times vary by location.

St. Johns County Public Library – Visit your local St. Johns County Public Library for weekly story time. Times vary by location.

Nassau County Time for Tots – Time for Tots is a special interactive story time designed for children Infant to 4 yrs. of age and their families/caregivers to enhance emergent literacy skills and instill a lifelong love of reading and learning. Times vary by location.

Clay County Public Library – Visit your local Clay County Public Library for weekly story time. Times vary by location.

Traveling Tales Kit – Jacksonville Main Public Library – The Duval County Library offers Traveling Tales Kits available for check out from the Main Library in downtown Jacksonville for free. The kits include books, puppets, songs, craft ideas, snack recipes, a music CD, a DVD, and a flannel board story all related to a theme. This is the perfect way to have story time in your own home, or with your playgroup. You must visit the Main Library to check out the kits, but they can be returned to any Duval County Library.

Other Story Times

Pottery Barn Kids – The Pottery Barn Kids store at the St. Johns Town Center offers a weekly story time at 11:00am on Tuesdays.

Villa Villekulla Neighborhood Toy Store – The Villa Villekulla Neighborhood Toy Store, located in Amelia Island, offers story time on the last Tuesday of the month at 10:00am. Visit their Facebook page for more details.

The Disney Store – Each Disney Store offers their own story times throughout the week. The St. John’s Town Center location offers Stories for Babies on the first Wednesday of the month at 10:30am and Stories for Children on the third Wednesday of the month at 10:30am. The Avenues location offers story time on Wednesdays and Fridays at 12:30pm.

Bay & Bee – Bay & Bee offers story time for members on Wednesdays and Fridays at 4:00pm. You must be a Bay & Bee member to attend. Visit their Facebook page for more details.
