Having professional photos taken is a big deal and it gives me a lot of anxiety! I stress over getting coordinating outfits that are not too matchy yet match just enough. I hope my kids will act nice, cooperate and look cute. Finally, that I will be able pick out some great pictures and know what to do with them on my wall! Am I alone?
I had the pleasure of working with Laura Davis of Pure Life Photography, who was wonderful and helped with every detail! She spent time with me before our photo shoot getting to know my children, giving me advice on clothing and discussing what I was hoping to get out of our session. I expressed my concerns about how my two-year-old would act and she put my mind at ease. As a mom of two, she knows how kids act and how a mom feels.
We met at an amazing little park in Atlantic Beach with gorgeous trees and a little stream. My two older kids were beyond excited, but not my littlest one who is slow to warm up. Laura was great with each of them. I walked away and she was able to make magic happen. Of course, my son, being the boy he is, could not resist falling into the stream and getting muddy. Laura assured me that it would be retouched and I would never know, and she was right! We spent about 30 minutes together and my kids had a lot of fun and I had my fingers crossed that we got some good shots.
I was so pleased and love the pictures that were captured!
Last step was picking out the photos. Of course, I am striving to create one of the amazing collages I have seen on Pinterest and have no idea how to make it happen. Laura was extremely helpful in narrowing down the photos and even offered to come over to my house with templates to place on the walls to help me plan the wall collage. I was thrilled to get the digital files for sharing and ordering extra copies. In addition to the digital files, she also offers high quality professional prints that will last for generations.
Working with Pure Life Photography was a “picture perfect” experience. Providing full customer service experience, from helping pick out our wardrobe, prepping for the session, creating natural poses with such patience, and assisting in selecting photo sizes and images.
Laura is a natural with children, she puts mom at ease and is an artist with her photography!
