During the school year, feeding the family a healthy dinner can be challenging. Mix that with the chaos of the holiday season and additional cooking we may do for gatherings, and you have a recipe for stress! Thankfully, food delivery services were invented and offer a little relief for busy parents. I was thrilled to try out the delicious dinners from Ready Cook Meals — a delivery service that truly understands a parent’s need to have that extra helping hand in the kitchen.

Shopping and cooking are time-consuming, and no matter how much you plan, getting a healthy meal on the dinner table may not always possible. Although my kids don’t feel bad about it, I do feel guilty whenever I grab a quick bite from a fast-food restaurant when I don’t have time to cook dinner or go grocery shopping. With Ready Cook Meals, time was on my side. I was impressed with their speed of delivery when my order arrived on my doorstep the next morning.

My kids love chicken and pasta, so I knew this Italian Mozzarella Chicken with Pasta would be a hit with them. It was, and the chicken was seasoned just right!

I was already impressed as I was browsing through their website to choose which meals my kids would actually eat. They’re both still picky eaters, and luckily, Ready Cook Meals is aware of that, too. I went straight to the kid-friendly meals section and chose three dinners that looked like dishes both my kids and I would enjoy. All the dinners they offer, however, look great!

This is Major Miller's Bacon Cheddar Meatloaf with Supreme Mashed Potatoes and Seasoned Broccoli. I chose this meal for my who likes meatloaf and broccoli is one of the vegetables he actually likes eating.

I simply placed the packaged food from the cooler into my freezer until it was time to cook. That’s another great perk with Ready Cook Meals — it truly is ready to cook! It’s not even necessary to thaw the food, eliminating any kind of pre-planning you need to make before dinner. Also, the cooler is yours to keep, or they will pick it up the next time you place an order.

Our third dinner was the Herb-Crusted Pork Chops with Mashed Potatoes and Seasoned Carrots. It did not disappoint, and I love how fresh the meat and vegetables were for every meal.

I let my kids choose which dinner they wanted each night, making them even more excited to try the meals. The easy-to-follow cooking instructions are on the back of each packaged dinner, and each meal only took about 30 minutes to make — they all smelled and tasted delicious!

The cooking instructions are simple. Therefore, even if you’re not an expert in the kitchen, it would be hard to go wrong with these meals!

I ordered four servings for each meal, and you can choose from either two or four. The portions were a good size, leaving us leftovers for each dinner we ordered, which saved me from having to worry about lunch the next day!
