The design U. Spring Pop-Up Shop is open at The Avenues Mall through June 27th.
Design U. is a creative, fun and fashionable experience for trendy and creative girls and young women who are looking for the latest fashion that they can customize and design in their own unique style! Shop for clothes and accessories then enjoy the experience of designing-it-yourself by altering or adding embellishments such as rhinestones, flowers, beads, trims etc.
You can even make your own accessories such as headbands, barrettes, rings, and earrings. Megan and I brought the kids and had a great time helping the girls design and create some adorable headbands! The store is also a fashion design studio with workspace and tools to work on your designs. The supplies and tools are free to use. If designing is not for you, you can shop for anything as is, or purchase something that they’ve already designed.
Enjoy your experience with your family and friends! Design U also hosts Birthday parties, Girl’s Night Out, and Story Time & Design. There is no fee for your event and you BYO snacks and drinks. There is even a catwalk to create your own runway show and a Selfie wall!
Design U. is located at The Avenues Mall next to H&M, lower level. Open April 1st – June 27th; Monday – Saturday 10am – 9pm, Sunday 12pm – 6pm.
Join design U will be showing off at the Indulge event at the Avenues Mall! Enjoy an evening of food, drinks, fashion, beauty, shopping and fun! On Thursday, May 7th from 5-8pm, women in Jacksonville will come together for a fun night of pampering and retail therapy.
