Preschool:  Ballet/Tap combination with acrobatics. These classes are available Monday, Tuesday and Thursday 2:45-3:45 p.m. (Please note on the contract if you prefer a certain day.)     

Kindergarten:  Ballet/Tap combination with acrobatics. 

First through 4th grades may sign up for Ballet, Jazz, Tap, and Acrobatics.  Remember, each class is separate with their own recital dance and costume.  For example; if your child takes all 4 disciplines they will have 4 costumes.  First grade does not have a recital dance for acrobatics therefore would not have a costume for that class. 

Fifth through 12th grades may sign up for Ballet, Jazz, Tap, Pointe, and Acrobatics. Pointe class must be with approval.  Ballet and Pointe are two separate classes.  You must take Ballet in order to take Pointe.  There is however one costume for the two classes.  The recital dance is learned during the Ballet Technique class when both Pointe and Ballet students are present.

Dansations provides quality and technically challenging dance in a fun creative environment. The studio has a comprehensive curriculum for ages 3 to adult.

The creative program for ages 3-7 has been strategically planned to include dance knowledge, creativity and just plain fun into every class. The class curriculum for ages 8 to adult offers a variety of settings. There are classes for all levels and all ages.

The MaliVai Washington Youth Foundation was founded by former tennis professional and ’96 Wimbledon finalist MaliVai Washington.

TnT is a daily after-school program. TnT (Tennis-n-Tutoring) operates from 3pm-6pm, Monday-Friday in the MaliVai Washington Youth Center. TnT contains 3 sessions daily which provide academic assistance, tennis/fitness activities and life skills classes. Each child also receives a nutritious snack daily. The program offers: Academic Support through homework assistance and mentors; Tennis and Fitness classes focusing on nutrition, introduction to the sport of tennis and practice for competitive play; Life Skills & Enrichment classes which are age appropriate and range from basic hygiene to pregnancy prevention. MWYF promotes academic achievement and positive life skills in Jacksonville youth through the game of tennis. Since 1985, the Mazza-Smith Studio has provided quality instruction throughout the Jacksonville area. Our program is designed to make dance a very special experience – fun and educational. Our emphasis is on our relationships and character building as well as rhythm and movement. We offer the opportunity for our students ages 3 and up to gain confidence and learn valuable life skills such as teamwork, respect for others, self-expression, music appreciation and the exciting art of dance.

Village Dance Center located in Jacksonville Florida is directed by Karen Norris.

Preschool: Ballet/Tap combination with acrobatics. These classes are available Monday-Thursday 2:45-3:45 p.m. (Please note on the contract if you prefer a certain day.) This year we are also offering a Monday morning class from 9:00-10:00 a.m.

Kindergarten: Ballet/Tap combination with acrobatics.

First through 4th grades may sign up for Ballet, Jazz, Tap, and Acrobatics. Remember, each class is separate with their own recital dance and costume. For example; if your child takes all 4 disciplines they will have 4 costumes. First grade does not have a recital dance for acrobatics, therefore would not have a costume for that class.

Fifth through 12th grades may sign up for Ballet, Jazz, Tap, Pointe, and Acrobatics. Pointe class must be with approval. Ballet and Pointe are two separate classes. You must take Ballet in order to take Pointe. The recital dance is learned during the Ballet Technique class when both Pointe and Ballet students are present.

Open Ballet Class: This is an additional dance class available for those students already enrolled in ballet. This is a class focused on ballet technique, stretching, and conditioning. It will be taught on an advanced level. It is open to anyone currently in Junior, Advanced 1 or Advanced 2 classes.

Extra Classes: If you wish to take additional classes please indicate on your registration form by putting the number of classes next to each discipline. (For example; Ballet – 2.) Any serious student should be taking a minimum of 2 Ballet classes per week beginning in 5th grade. Younger students may also take additional classes with approval.

Student Assistants: Students 7th grade and older are eligible to assist with classes. A tuition discount will be offered for assisting. You must assist for the entire year in order to receive a discount. Priority is given to older dancers. Please note on your registration the day and times you are available

Classes are leveled as students mature. Please respect your teacher’s placement. If changes need to be made, they will be adjusted after classes begin. We realize students dancing in summer programs may need to be re-evaluated in the Fall

At Tumblrz we offer an outstanding minis program that is specially designed for the 3 to 6 year old tumbler. Our challenging and fun program focuses on various aspects of the child’s physical, mental, and social development while having lots of fun! We begin with a foundation of gymnastics to build strength, flexibility, coordination, and endurance. Your child will learn various skills through movement such as balance and concentration when working on the beam. They will test their strength when learning basic gymnastics skills such as forward rolls and cartwheels. This sets the groundwork for moving into more advanced tumbling and gymnastics skills when they are older but not only that, these skills when started young tend to promote healthy growth and development that will follow them well into adulthood.

Little Dancing Stars, your mobile dance company started in 2001. We offer children 3 to 6 years of age basic beginning Ballet and Tap instruction. For in person I will come to your home in proper PPE and teach multiple students if they reside in the same home for 2 hour sessions on all school days or twice a week. Welcome to our Kumon Math and Reading Center of Ponte Vedra – Solana Road. We are conveniently located in Ponte Vedra Beach on the corner of State Road A1A & Solana Road, in the Ponte Vedra Square (Winn Dixie Shopping Center).

For more than 50 years, Kumon’s after-school academic enrichment program has helped children achieve success worldwide. We strive to instill in children the desire to achieve and the motivation to learn on their own. Students advance through the program at their own pace. Our emphasis on individualized learning helps your child become focused, motivated and self-reliant. We monitor each child’s progress to ensure comprehension before moving on to a new concept. With a strong academic foundation, critical thinking and problem solving abilities, your child has the potential to achieve whatever he or she desires.

Monthly Tuition:

$185 per month – One Subject – Math or Reading

$300 per month – Two Subjects – Math & Reading

Registration Fee: $50.00

Materials Fee: $25.00

Absences:

Per corporate policy, students may be absent for 30 days per calendar year. After 30 days, the student must re-enroll as a new student and the above-referenced fees apply. Also, a new placement test will be administered.

• We require a 30 day notice when discontinuing.

The Cathedral Arts Project is the leading nonprofit provider of quality, comprehensive and ongoing instruction in the visual and performing arts for school-aged children in Northeast Florida.

CAP is offering free virtual and in-person courses in art as therapy, dance, media arts, music, and theatre for children of all ages!

Virtual courses are six weeks long and are offered on a quarterly basis. In-person courses are year-long and offered at schools and community centers throughout Duval County. Here are a few things to note:

• Virtual courses are available to any student, no matter what school they attend! In-person courses are available only to students already enrolled at that school or site.
• Capacity for all courses is limited to ensure quality instruction and maximize time with teaching artists and classmates.
• CAP provides free supplies for virtual courses to students in Duval County, which will be available for pick-up. Supplies for in-person courses are also provided for free.

Neuropsychologist and President of The Morris Center Ponte Vedra Beach, Dr. Tim Conway, is excited to bring his transdisciplinary team of learning disorder treatment specialists to North Florida. The Morris Center team provides prevention and remediation services for dyslexia and other learning disorders/difficulties using research- and evidence-based methods. We are excited to partner with the Ponte Vedra Beach/Jacksonville medical community to provide a powerful resource for families and pediatricians dedicated to unlock the learning potential of our community’s children.

K-8th Grade: full or part-time offerings –Spring River School, established in 2015 as part of The Playgarden Community, serves approximately 60 students in grades K-6 from all over the Jacksonville area. Beginning in the fall of 2021, Spring River took our programming 100% outdoors on daily field trips and is the only “All Outdoor School” in Northeast Florida. We offer hands-on creative programming inspired by Waldorf methods of learning, meeting each family with warmth and joy. Spring River supports families that have chosen home education and we are a Florida non-profit organization with a commitment to serving the community by helping to build children’s reverence for the natural world and create future stewards of the earth.
