Early Child Development Infants – VPK, Camps: At The Learning Experience (TLE), we believe that children deserve to grow and learn at their own pace. Learning Ladders offers part-time and full-time programs for children ages 1-4. Free VPK is also available.

We offer combinations of 5, 3, and 2 day a week programs. Full day and half day programs are available. We’re a VPK provider offering both the free partial day program and the VPK program combined with full day care. We are a quality early education program for children ages 1, 2, 3, 4 & 5.

At Tutor Time, our approach to child care is based on our strongly held belief that all children are intelligent. Our classrooms are not typical child care environments. They feature different learning centers full of ways for children to explore and investigate all the ways they are smart. SeekingSitters is a babysitting referral service where we do all the work for our members. We can help with your full-time, part-time, one-time or even last minute childcare needs. Our Certified Sitters can also help with small or large group events for special occasions like parties and weddings.

Only the most qualified are accepted into the SeekingSitters Team and SeekingSitters continually gathers and reviews member feedback in order to continue to refer the most qualified Certified Sitters.

Our Jacksonville Childcare And Preschool Learning Center Programs Are The Best
Located in Jacksonville’s Southside, our childcare programs incorporate creative play, song and dance, planned activities, arts and crafts, and daily outside play activities. We provide childcare for children ages six weeks through five years old.

Our Voluntary Pre-Kindergarten (VPK) program is available to children age four with a birthday on-or-before September 1st of each school year. Our Jacksonville Summer VPK program is for children age 4 with a birthday after September 1st. Children ages five and seven love our Summer Camp.

Founder, Martin Freeman, is a former law enforcement officer and is a father of 5. He recalls hearing the concerns of many coworkers, friends, and associates regarding the lack of childcare during their demanding unconventional work schedules. A probationary officer, who at the time had recently graduated from the Academy was placed on the midnight shift. She couldn’t find adequate childcare for her hours of work and also suffered from postpartum depression to the point that she attempted suicide. After Martin and his team rescued her, he was determined never to let this happen to another person. Martin’s endeavor to help ensure that no other parent face this type of situation was developed. His passion to provide a quality 7 days a week childcare, which would provide childcare during traditional and or non-traditional work hours for first Responders and all working parents was created.

Preschoolers are introduced to cognitive skills: sequencing and matching; social skills: similarities and diversity; and language art skills: storytelling and writing.

Independent, Private preschool for children ages 1 to VPK​

Play, learn and grow at the Padawan Academy, which is a private preschool for children ages 1 to VPK. Padawan Academy students receive priority enrollment for kindergarten at San Jose Primary, a tuition-free charter school that serves grades K-5 on the campus immediately next door. Tuition discounts apply for families with multiple children at the Padawan Academy, or for those families with older children enrolled in the San Jose Schools. Free VPK for 4-year-olds is available for all Florida residents.

Your child will be supported by a team of educators experienced in early childhood development and in the use of activity-based curricula. An abundance of hands-on projects in the classroom and physical activity on the playground will make school time your child’s fun time.

Our staff members communicate your child’s milestones with photos and texts via a school-specific mobile app. We invite you to share in your child’s day via live cameras in our classrooms. Tuition rates include two meals per day, snack, wipes and diapers (as needed).
